2007 Overall Points Leaders

Updated: 11/7/2007 - Points are finished for the year. All standing protests must be sent before November 15. After November 15, the standings will be final.

Series points are based on these point totals per race for 1st place:
Expert - 100
VetOpen - 80
SingleSpeed - 70
Sport - 60
Novice - 40

Each racer begins with a base set of points for their respective class. The first place Expert finisher automatically receives the maximum of 100 points. The second place Expert finisher receives a percentage of those 100 points based on the ratio of his/her time to the first place finisher’s time.

Series Points: Overall points - XC: Best 8 of 13 races per rider. This year's lowered race requirement was determined by the results of a poll conducted on our MTBohio mailing list, and general consensus by the OMBC Rider Council.

Series Awards: Series awards to be given at the post-season banquet. For XC racers, 8 of 13 events must be completed to qualify for year end series awards.
